» Publication & Professional Recognition

Official Competition Book with ISBN

IADC2027 will publish an official Competition Book with an ISBN, documenting the projects submitted to the competition and creating a lasting record of the participating design works.

This publication provides participants with an additional opportunity to present their work within an internationally accessible architectural and design publication.

Permanent Online Exhibition

Selected and eligible submitted projects will be presented and archived on the official competition website, creating a long-term digital exhibition through which designers can continue to share their work with an international audience.

Certificate of Exhibition

Participants whose projects are included in the official exhibition will receive a Certificate of Exhibition, confirming that their work was presented as part of the International Aesthetic Design Competition hosted by Alanya University.

This certificate may provide valuable supporting documentation for academic portfolios, professional portfolios, promotion files, applications, and design records.

Certificate of Participation

All eligible participants who successfully complete the competition process will receive an official Certificate of Participation, recognizing their contribution to IADC2027.

International Exposure

Participation provides designers with an opportunity to present their architectural and urban design ideas to an international audience, including academics, professionals, designers, students, jury members, and members of the wider design community.

Professional & Academic Portfolio Value

Awards, special mentions, shortlisted status, publication, exhibition, and participation certificates can contribute to the development of participants' academic and professional portfolios, providing formal documentation of international competition participation and design achievement.

Networking & Knowledge Exchange

IADC2027 creates a platform for interaction among architects, urban designers, interior architects, academics, professionals, mentors, and emerging designers from different countries, encouraging the exchange of ideas, approaches, and design perspectives.

Design Impact

Through the theme “Aesthetic Design Ideas for a Better World,” participants are invited to demonstrate how aesthetic quality, innovation, cultural sensitivity, environmental responsibility, and creative thinking can contribute to more meaningful architecture and urban environments.

» Important Award Regulations

  • The winning, shortlisted, and specially mentioned projects will be officially announced through the competition website and may be presented and permanently archived within the IADC digital platform.
  • Following the official announcement of the results, a one-month appeal period will be provided for legitimate third-party claims concerning authorship, originality, or intellectual-property rights. Any objection will be reviewed by the competition administration and jury. The concerned participant may be requested to provide supporting documentation or a formal response. If an objection is determined to be valid, the project may be disqualified and any related award, certificate, publication, or recognition may be withdrawn.
  • The jury may recognize up to 15 projects within the ARCHITECTURE classification and 15 projects within the URBAN DESIGN classification, resulting in up to 30 Special Mention and/or Shortlisted Project recognitions.
  • For team submissions, any cash prize is awarded to the project as a whole and will be divided equally among the registered team members unless otherwise determined by the team.
  • If the same individual or identical team receives more than one cash-prize award, only the highest-value cash prize will be payable. Other distinctions may still be acknowledged through certificates or competition recognition, subject to the final jury decision.
  • The decisions of the international jury regarding awards, rankings, special mentions, and shortlisted projects are final, subject only to verified issues involving eligibility, originality, authorship, or violation of the competition regulations.

More Than a Prize — A Lasting Design Record

IADC2027 aims to ensure that participation extends beyond the competition itself. Through awards, certificates, an ISBN-published competition book, online exhibition, permanent digital visibility, and international recognition, the competition provides participants with a lasting record of their creative contribution to contemporary architecture and urban design.
